ACCENT is a language guessing game developed and operated by defimagic (Pennsylvania, USA). Players hear audio clips of human voices and guess which country or region the accent is from. The game includes optional paid content packs accessible via one-time purchase.
By playing ACCENT — whether on the web at accent.defimagic.io or through a native iOS or Android app — you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, do not use the game.
You may use ACCENT for personal, non-commercial entertainment. You may not:
Paid content packs (Pickup Lines, Drunk English Mode, Regional Accents, US Mini) are one-time purchases that unlock additional audio content within the game.
Web purchases are processed by Stripe. All sales are final. Refunds are subject to Stripe's standard refund policy and are granted at our discretion for documented technical failures.
iOS purchases are processed by Apple and subject to Apple's standard App Store refund policy. Contact Apple support to request a refund.
Android purchases are processed by Google and subject to Google Play's refund policy.
Tip jar payments (Beer Tip, general tips) are voluntary contributions with no associated content unlock. They are non-refundable.
We reserve the right to discontinue content packs. If a pack you purchased is removed, we will make reasonable efforts to provide equivalent access or a refund.
All game content — including audio clips, design, code, and branding — is owned by defimagic. Audio clips of natural language speakers used in the Standard pack are licensed from public domain sources. ElevenLabs-generated audio (paid packs) is used under ElevenLabs' commercial license. You do not acquire any ownership rights by purchasing content packs.
ACCENT is provided "as is" without warranty of any kind. We do not warrant that the game will be available at all times, free of errors, or compatible with all devices. Use the game at your own risk.
To the maximum extent permitted by law, defimagic shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from your use of ACCENT. Our total liability for any claim arising from your use of the game shall not exceed the amount you paid for the content at issue in the preceding 12 months.
These terms are governed by the laws of the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania, USA. Any dispute arising from these terms or your use of ACCENT that cannot be resolved informally shall be submitted to binding arbitration or small claims court in Pennsylvania. You waive the right to participate in class action litigation.
We may update these terms at any time. Material changes will be noted by updating the "Last updated" date. Continued use of the game after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.
